On Saturday, I received an email and it so related to last weeks blog that I wanted to share it with you.  It is one of those that asks to be “forwarded to everyone you know” so after my own entry, I will post the email in its entirety. But, first, here is this weeks blog in reference to it…

The following email message is both concise and contrite. Think about it for a moment and try to take the time to reflect upon what is truly important in life.   As we are still being told to bask in the golden glow of Oscar Sunday and the social media is extolling the controversies of slit-ted gowns, self-obsessed, over inflated egos, rear ends and obsequious frivolity consider the gravity of the message in the email and acknowledge and respect those who really make a difference in life. These brave souls who go above and beyond without exorbitant recompense or public adulation to try to make our lives safer and better. There is not an equivalent ‘Oscar’ awarded to them, there is barely a recognition or mention.
The social scales need to tip into a more balanced and meaningful equilibrium and it can be attained – starting with just ’10 Seconds’ at a time.
With that in mind, here is this week’s Tennism:
